Our friendship may have started in the most unassuming of places, waiting for the school bus to Danetre on that fateful day in September 1992, but it turned into the most wonderful, unforgettable lifelong companionship. From long walks in the countryside to seeing gigs together, watching the football and simply enjoying each other’s company, it was a privilege to have you as a friend throughout. Asking me to be the godfather to Abigail was the biggest honour I’ve ever had.
